Mikhail Gorbachev to lecture at Belo Mansion on Monday

Mikhail Gorbachev was the last president of the Soviet Union. In 1990, he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his attempts to reform the Communist Party and end the Cold War. On Monday, he will lecture at the Belo Mansion as par of the University of Dallas’ Eugene McDermott Lectureship. The event starts 7 p.m., 2101 Ross Ave., with a reception at 6 p.m. Admission is $100; reserved seating and sponsorships start at $500. For tickets, call 972-721-4046.
